Jeremiah 29:11: 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Centro 29:11 will be our church’s Christian community center aimed at filling individual and community needs and sharing God’s love in the canyon.
The center will provide skills classes, English classes, substance abuse counseling, Bible studies, daycare, as well as serve as our base for a variety of community outreach projects. Our goal is to equip and empower people living in the community to help them learn the skills, confidence, and faith in Christ that will help them live more productive and happy lives.
Currently we are in the process of building the first phase of the center which includes much needed Sunday school classrooms for our children that will also serve as dorm space for visiting missionary groups. We are excited about all the work God has done so far on this project and ask for your prayers and support. Our goal right now is to raise an additional $5,000 to be able to complete the first stage.
